    How to Rip and Convert Blu-ray to TS?

    TS, aka MPEG transport stream, or MPEG-TS or MTS, is a standard container format for transmission and storage of audio, video and Program and System Information Protocol (PSIP). It is used in broadcast system such as DVB, ATSC and IPTV.

    Following are the detailed steps about how to rip and convert Blu-ray to TS with Sothink Blu-ray Ripper.


    Step 1: Launch Sothink Blu-ray Ripper, and load the source

    Download, install and launch Sothink quick launcher, and then choose Blu-ray Ripper from the welcome screen.


    Insert the Blu-ray disc you want to rip into the external Blu-ray drive attached to your PC, or navigate it via the Add buttons on the main UI. If the source is a Blu-ray ISO or a folder, you can simply drag & drop it into the main UI for loading.


    Step 2: Choose TS, and personalize the output video

    After source loading, the correct structure and all the embedded content are recognized and shown on the interface. You can select what you need including the titles, audio tracks, subtitles and output size. Following, move and click the profile switcher to choose TS from the Video tab of Format part in Sothink's profile library.


    Besides the output content, Sothink provides you Advanced Settings and video edit features to enable you to personalize the video to make the result to be what you like. You can set all the video and audio parameters regarding the output video, and edit it including the output video effect adjusting, video trimming, display area cropping, external subtitles or watermarks adding, etc.



    After that, don't forget to select the output location at the Save to part.


    Step 3: Begin ripping Blu-ray to TS

    Tap the Start button at the bottom right corner of the interface, Sothink will immediately begin ripping Blu-ray to TS and provide the detailed progress info meanwhile. Around half an hour, the whole process can be finished. But the final processing time may be different depending on how your PC hardware performs, the source size and how fast your write drive runs.
